In order to verify signatures, users could upload their certificates and public keys using these routes:
-> for public keys:
/v2/_zot/ext/mgmt?resource=signatures&tool=cosign
-> for certificates:
/v2/_zot/ext/mgmt?resource=signatures&tool=notation&truststoreType=ca&truststoreName=name
Then the public keys will be stored under $rootdir/_cosign and the certificates will be stored under
$rootdir/_notation/truststore/x509/$truststoreType/$truststoreName.
Also, for notation case, the "truststores" field of $rootir/_notation/trustpolicy.json file will be
updated with a new entry "$truststoreType:$truststoreName".
Also based on the uploaded files, the information about the signatures validity will be updated
periodically.

before syncing an image we first check if it's already present in our storage
to do that we get the manifest from remote and compare it with the local one
but in the case of syncing docker images, because the conversion to OCI format is done while
syncing, we get a docker manifest before conversion, so sync detects that local manifest and
remote one are different, so it starts syncing again.
to overcome this, convert remote docker manifests to OCI manifests and then compare.

fix(storage/local): also put deduped blobs in cache, not just origin blobs
this caused an error when trying to delete deduped blobs
from multiple repositories
fix(storage/s3): check blob is present in cache before deleting
this is an edge case where dedupe is false but cacheDriver is not nil
(because in s3 we open the cache.db if storage find it in rootDir)
it caused an error when trying to delete blobs uploaded with dedupe false

Currently, when pushing an image, validation is performed to check that
a layer/blob in the manifest already exists. For non-distributable
layers, that check needs to be skipped.

Moved implementation from a separate db to repodb by Andrei Aaron <aaaron@luxoft.com>
Not done yet:
- run/test dynamodb implementation, only boltdb was tested
- add additional coverage for existing functionality
- add web-based APIs to toggle the stars/bookmarks on/off
Initially graphql mutation was discussed for the missing API but
we decided REST endpoints would be better suited for configuration
feat(userdb): complete functionality for userdb integration
- dynamodb rollback changes to user starred repos in case increasing the total star count fails
- dynamodb increment/decrement repostars in repometa when user stars/unstars a repo
- dynamodb check anonymous user permissions are working as intendend
- common test handle anonymous users
- RepoMeta2RepoSummary set IsStarred and IsBookmarked
feat(userdb): rest api calls for toggling stars/bookmarks on/off
test(userdb): blackbox tests
test(userdb): move preferences tests in a different file with specific build tags
feat(repodb): add is-starred and is-bookmarked fields to repo-meta

The zap scanner started to check the csp header, which is causing a warning.
We also need to ignore the rule, as both settings are read by the scanner.
Per https://w3c.github.io/webappsec-csp/#example-7bb4ce67 we can have multiple
Content-Security-Policy headers, and the most restrictive policies apply.
This rule doesn't seem to be applied by zap.

BREAKING CHANGE: repository paths are now specified under a new config key called "repositories" under "accessControl" section in order to handle "groups" feature. Previously the repository paths were specified directly under "accessControl".
This PR adds the ability to create groups of users which can be used for authZ policies, instead of just users.
{
"http": {
"accessControl": {
"groups": {
Just like the users, groups can be part of repository policies/default policies/admin policies. The 'groups' field in accessControl can be missing if there are no groups. The permissions priority is user>group>default>admin policy, verified in this order (in authz.go), and permissions are cumulative. It works with LDAP too, and the group attribute name is configurable. The DN of the group is used as the group name and the functionality is the same. All groups for the given user are added to the context in authn.go. Repository paths are now specified under a new keyword called "repositories" under "accessControl" section in order to handle "groups" feature.

Changes in this commit:
A.
There were nested conveys following the pattern:
- outer convey was a positive test
- inner conveys were negative tests
The positive and negative tests did not depend on one another, but the positive test was repeated for each negative test.
So for example if there was 1 positive test and 2 negative tests what go would do is:
1. execute the outer convey with the positive test
2. execute the 1st inner convey with the 1st negative test
3. execute the outer convey with the positive test
4. execute the 2nd inner convey with the 2nd negative test
Since there were no dependencies between these tests they can be moved on the same level.
B.
The test function bringing up the controller for `TestServerCVEResponseGQL` was the same for `TestServerCVEResponse`, so I removed `TestServerCVEResponseGQL` and moved the Conveys under `TestServerCVEResponse`. This will save time on the initial TrivyDB download, since it's done only once when the controller starts.
C. The `Convey("without flags", func() {` was actually the same as the test under which it was nested: `Convey("Test CVE invalid url port", t, func() {` no code differences so I removed it.
D. Use the new test functions to start/stop and wait for the zot contoller to be reachable
Signed-off-by: Andrei Aaron <aaaron@luxoft.com>
The 'test' makefile target runs the tests for both 'minimal' and equivalent of the former 'extended' build.
The trivy package tests were run twice, even if the trivy logic is unreachable if search is disabled.
With this update we should see a cut of about 150s of test time.

1. chore(trivy): update trivy library version
The trivy team switched github.com/urfave/cli for viper so
there are some other code changes as well.
Since we don't use github.com/urfave/cli directly in our software
we needed to add a tools.go in order for "go mod tidy" to not delete it.
See this pattern explained in:
- https://github.com/golang/go/wiki/Modules#how-can-i-track-tool-dependencies-for-a-module
- https://github.com/go-modules-by-example/index/blob/master/010_tools/README.md#walk-through
The jobs using "go get -u" have been updated to use "go install", since go get
modifies the go.mod by upgrading some of the packages, but downgrading trivy to an older
version with broken dependencies
2. fix(storage) Update local storage to ignore folder names not compliant with dist spec
Also updated trivy to download the DB and cache results under the rootDir/_trivy folder
3. fix(s3): one of the s3 tests was missing the skipIt call
This caused a failure when running locally without s3 being available
4. make sure the offline scanning is enabled, and zot only downloads the trivy DB
on the regular schedule, and doesn't download the DB on every image scan

* feat(repodb): add pagination for ImageListForDigest and implement FilterTags
ImageListForDigest can now return paginated results, directly from DB.
It uses FilterTags, a new method to filter tags (obviously) based on
the criteria provided in the filter function.
Pagination of tags is now slightly different, it shows all results if
no limit and offset are provided.

Currently there is no push-back on queries that should contain image names but
have only the repo name. This commit adds a check that will return an error for images
w/o a reference(tag or digest).

UI can now make use of OCI artifacts and references using `Referrers` gQL query.
It returns a list of descriptors that refer on their `subject` field to another
digest.

Suppose we push two identical manifests (sharing same digest) but with
different tags, then deleting by digest should throw an error otherwise
we end up deleting all image tags (with gc) or dangling references
(without gc)
This behaviour is controlled via Authorization, added a new policy
action named detectManifestsCollision which enables this behaviour

Added example config for boltdb
Re-added caching on subpaths, rewrote CreateCacheDatabaseDriver
Fix tests
Made cacheDriver argument mandatory for NewImageStore, added more validation, added defaults
Moved cache interface to own file, removed useRelPaths from config
Got rid of cache config, refactored
Moved cache to own package and folder
Renamed + removed cache factory to backend, replaced CloudCache to RemoteCache
Moved storage constants back to storage package
moved cache interface and factory to storage package, changed remoteCache defaulting

Values returned now by GetCVESummaryForImage
// not scannable / error during scan - max severity "" - cve count 0 - Errors
// scannable no issues found - max severity "NONE" - cve count 0 - no Errors
// scannable issues found - max severity from Scanner - cve count >0 - no Errors
Before this change the max severity in case #1 and #2 was "UNKNOWN" which is also possible value
for case #3. To better distinguish them return different max severities.
This feature would be consumed by the UI.

Issues fixed:
- the cli calls reaching out to the catalog endpoint used to request signature manifests
- resty was used instead of the cli http client to check if the discovery api was available
but it did not take into account TLS verification configuration
(testing locally withself-signed certificates did not work)

Under digest bucket create 2 buckets, one for storing origin blob
and one for storing deduped blobs.
PutBlob() - puts an origin blob in both buckets
- puts a deduped blob in deduped bucket
GetBlob() - returns blobs only from origin bucket
DeleteBlob() - deletes an origin blob from both buckets
and moves one deduped blob into origin bucket
- deletes a deduped blob from deduped bucket
[storage] When deleting an origin blob, next time we GetBlob() we get a
deduped blob with no content and we will move the content from
the deleted origin blob to it (inside s3.go).

in order to know which blob is 'real' (has content)
we need to know which was the first blob inserted in cache,
because that is always the real one.
because we can not modify the keys order in boltdb we'll do this
by marking the first blob inserted with a value
when GetBlob() return the blob which is marked
when PutBlob() if is the first one, mark it
when DeleteBlob() in case deleted is marked then mark the next blob

currently different subpaths can only point to same root directory only
when one or both of the storage config does not enable dedupe
different subpath should be able to point to same root directory and in
that case their storage config should be same i.e GC,Dedupe, GC delay
and GC interval

- AccessControlContext now resides in a separate package from where it can be imported,
along with the contextKey that will be used to set and retrieve this context value.
- AccessControlContext has a new field called Username, that will be of use for future
implementations in graphQL resolvers.
- GlobalSearch resolver now uses this context to filter repos available to the logged user.
- moved logic for uploading images in tests so that it can be used in every package
- tests were added for multiple request scenarios, when zot-server requires authz
on specific repos
- added tests with injected errors for extended coverage
- added tests for status code error injection utilities

ImageListWithLatestTag currently returns a list of ImageInfo objects.
It needs to return consistent results with the API used for Global search as the same information will be used by the UI in the same type or cards.
So we need to update RepoSummary to include the data which right now is present in ImageInfo, but missing from RepoSummary (information on the latest tag in that specific repo).
Will update return type of ImageListWithLatestTag in a later PR (issue tracked in a separate GH issue)

- Decrease RLIMIT_NOFILE and the number of goroutines used to reach this limit (from 512 to 100)
- Reset RLIMIT_NOFILE to the initial value before the test finishes
- Remove panic
- Use temporary dir managed by test framework
- Swith to using test logging in pkg/cli/stress_test.go
- Execute commands without `bash -c` in pkg/cli/stress_test.go
First item is needed as the GH runner seems to stop the test if stressed too much.
The lower number is still good enough to reproduce the test conditions

We encountered some problems with using the existing folder structure,
but it looks like running the tooling with the latest versions works after
we regenerated the project using 'gql init' and refactoring to separate
the login previously in resolvers.go.
- the autogenerated code is now under the gql_generated folder
- the file resolvers.go now contains only the code which is not
rewritten by the gqlgen framework
- the file schema.resolvers.go is rewritten when gqlgen runs,
and we'll only keep there the actual resolvers matching query names
Changes we observed to schema.resolvers.go when gqlgen runs include
reordering methods, and renaming function parameters to match the
names used in schema.graphql
- we now have a gqlgen.yaml config file which governs the behavior of
gqlgen (can be tweaked to restructure the folder structure of the
generated code in the future)
Looks like the new graphql server has better validation
1 Returns 422 instead of 200 for missing query string - had to update tests
2 Correctly uncovered an error in a test for a bad `%` in query string.
As as result of 2, a `masked` bug was found in the way we check if images are
signed with Notary, the signatures were reasched for with the media type
of the image manifest itself instead of the media type for notation.
Fixed this bug, and improved error messages.
This bug would have also been reproducible with main branch if the bad `%`
in the test would have fixed.
Updated the linter to ignore some issues with the code which is
always rewritten when running:
`go run github.com/99designs/gqlgen@v0.17.13 generate`
Add a workflow to test gqlgen works and has no uncommitted changes
