Hannah Wolfe	f08a55c21f	Renamed tests to .test.js & updated commands ... refs: https://github.com/TryGhost/Team/issues/856 refs: https://github.com/TryGhost/Team/issues/756 - The .test.js extension is better than _spec.js as it's more obvious that it's an extension - It also meaans we can use the --extension parameter in mocha, which should result in a better default behaviour for `yarn test` - It also highlights that some of our tests were named incorrectly and were not (and still will not be) run (see https://github.com/TryGhost/Team/issues/856) - Note: even with this change, `yarn test` is throwing errors, I believe because of this issue https://github.com/TryGhost/Team/issues/756	2021-07-06 20:45:01 +01:00

Hannah Wolfe	d3f20c52fd	Moved getApiVersion to a new shared "bridge" class ... refs: bf0823c9a2 - Added a new bridge class that lives in shared. This should eventually be responsible for all cross-communication between the frontend and the server - Having all the gnarly shared bits in one place should help us refactor more easily - For now it also reduces requires between the core/server and core/frontend folders that are meant to be separate - All calls to getApiVersion have also been renamed to getFrontendApiVersion, as this is different to the "default" API version - Slowly getting to the point where frontend/services/themes can be moved to server/services/themes :)	2021-04-24 09:55:48 +01:00
Hannah Wolfe	22e13acd65	Updated var declarations to const/let and no lists ... - All var declarations are now const or let as per ES6 - All comma-separated lists / chained declarations are now one declaration per line - This is for clarity/readability but also made running the var-to-const/let switch smoother - ESLint rules updated to match How this was done: - npm install -g jscodeshift - git clone https://github.com/cpojer/js-codemod.git - git clone git@github.com:TryGhost/Ghost.git shallow-ghost - cd shallow-ghost - jscodeshift -t ../js-codemod/transforms/unchain-variables.js . -v=2 - jscodeshift -t ../js-codemod/transforms/no-vars.js . -v=2 - yarn - yarn test - yarn lint / fix various lint errors (almost all indent) by opening files and saving in vscode - grunt test-regression - sorted!	2020-04-29 16:51:13 +01:00
Hannah Wolfe	213f0a4785	Moved ghost-locals mw into parent app ... - Moved ghost-locals from shared to parent as it is not shared - This file is only used in one place, this updates the code structure to reflect this - This is one of many similar changes needed to make it easier to refactor to the existing setup - This allows shared middleware to be unhooked from the parent app	2020-04-21 18:50:46 +01:00
