ref DES-797
A lot of visual details of the Admin is outdated and inconsistent with
newer UI components such as settings. This PR improves several of these
inconsistencies and refreshes the visual design of the Admin outside
settings. In details the following components have been updated:
- Input fields and dropdowns use grey background color in Post settings
menu when not in-focus
- Got rid of the grey background for sections in Member details and Tag
details
- Updated typography details esp. as font-weights and sizes
- Updated modal corners, shadows
- Added a way to close the main navigation
- Updated main navigation styles
- Added flat background color for list items on hover
- Updated subscription cards in Member details
- Further smaller visual design changes

https://linear.app/ghost/issue/DES-1075/regression-esc-doesnt-close-admin-settings
- Hitting ESC in Admin/Settings while nothing is in focus should close
Settings and navigate back to the Dashboard — instead, right now nothing
happens when `ESC` is hit. The problem was that the `Select` component
in the current Design System caught `ESC` keystrokes and stopped
propagating them even if they were not in focus. This issue wasn't
apparent so far because no `Select` components were rendered directly on
the Settings page. However, in a [recent
change](ab2c7f18e2)
we moved out some select components from Access settings to the main
Settings view, which immediately stopped propagating `ESC` keystrokes to
the main component. This fix adds a check if the `Select` (or any other)
component is in focus and stops propagation only if that's true.

- problem: today, when a publisher removes the "free" tier from the
Portal settings, it doesn't disable free signups entirely. It removes
the free tier from the Portal UI, but free signup is still possible via
other avenues (signup form in themes, embeddable signup form on another
site, direct API call). This creates confusion/frustration for
publishers who thought they disabled free signups, but are still getting
unwanted free signups (spam). There is no way to disable free signups
entirely.
- solution: introduced a new "paid-members only" subscription access
setting, which blocks all free signups at the API level. If chosen, the
free tier is hidden in Portal and all free signup are blocked at the API
level with a readable error message (`This site only accepts paid
members.`)

This reverts commit 040b290fbd.
- the commit has broken browser tests, reverting to get back in a green state
- will be re-introduced in a follow-up PR
ref https://linear.app/ghost/issue/AP-613/make-drawer-wider-when-displaying-articles-on-larger-screens
- Added a prop to Modal which allows you to interact with the page
behind the Modal, so the main navigation could still be used while the
Article modal is opened
- Removed the breakpoint we only use in one place, and switched to using
an arbitrary Tailwind breakpoint that matches the one in admin instead
ref https://linear.app/ghost/issue/AP-613/make-drawer-wider-when-displaying-articles-on-larger-screens
- The drawer view for viewing Articles was only slightly wider than the
one for viewing Posts. Since we've decided to make a bigger separation
between these 2 types of post, we wanted to make the drawer almost full
width (excluding the main navigation sidebar).
- This also removes the backdrop from drawer view so the interaction
would be lighter.
- To achieve this we're adding another CSS breakpoint so it would match
the one used in Admin. We didn’t have one since our DS was mostly used
in isolation in Settings.

On Windows 10/Chrome (but maybe nowhere else?), attempting to drag a
file into any of the drop targets in the admin panel resulted in
flickering behavior, and generally dropping didn't actually trigger the
upload.
I thought originally it was a problem with the size of the drop target,
but it actually appears to be a rerender bug. In brief, handleDragging
and handleStopDragging were firing repeatedly, and each fire triggered a
rerender, that added or removed a div from the file upload widget.
I suspect some browser-specific difference in how drag events fire is to
blame.
This PR moves the logic to change the classes applied to the div, rather
than changing whether the div is present.
I have manually tested with Windows 10 in the users import, theme
import, and content import widgets. Styles are preserved (although I
think they could be improved, as the grey outline is really faint) and
uploading now works consistently, instead of mostly triggering display
of the raw file most of the time.
- Adding custom fonts for themes behind a feature flag
- Introduces new `@tryghost/custom-fonts` module to manage custom fonts
- UI updates for Branding and Theme settings

fixes
https://linear.app/tryghost/issue/DES-483/improve-analytics-card-layout-in-settings
Analytics settings in admin were difficult to read, as they were all
bunched together. This change lays them out in rows, making the
Analytics settings much easier to scan.

ref https://linear.app/tryghost/issue/ENG-1570
- for a Ghost site hosted on a subdirectory, e.g. `/blog/`, adding a
navigation link to `/blog/page/` was being re-written as `/page/` in Admin settings
- fixed the underlying `formatUrl` utility function and added unit tests
- Added activity icon for Replies
- Updated Replies design
- Updated hard-coded Profile values to more realistic ones
- Renamed ActivityPub nav item and moved it to the top of the navbar
- Added a check for post attachments
no issue
- Previously we weren't running the type checks in the
`admin-x-design-system` in CI, because we only run `yarn test:unit` in
CI. This adds the typechecks to the `yarn test:unit` command so CI will
fail if the type checks fail.
ref https://linear.app/tryghost/issue/DEV-20/faster-builds
- we can save 75KB by using a tree-shaking import for validator
- import string comes from validator docs
- also adds validator import, which was missing for this package
ref https://linear.app/tryghost/issue/DEV-20/faster-builds
- we added concurrently because, in theory, it should make builds faster
by utilizing more cores
- however, when combined with Nx, it seems that we are trying to exceed
the number of cores, which actually makes individual builds slower
- I've removed concurrently from the apps, which should improve the
build time significantly
